1939 - SATANS BOWL OF DEATH
Satans Bowl of death hosted race meetings between 1939 and 1941, The 1/3 mile track was also refered to as Satans Playground, More like a mud scramble than a speedway the cars raced up and down hill, In and around trees and through a creek crossing.
The track was very dangerous to the driver, official and spectator but at the same time very popular.

A lot of the cars were 1920's models with poor brakes and wooden spoke wheels.
The track had no safety barriers, The safety plan put in place was nothing more than signs errected, warning the public they were entering at there own risk.
