2016 - BRIAN ROSE MEMORIAL RDA 100

With all the winning that Anthony Beare has done, prior to this weekend he had never won a Brian Rose Memorial, In fact he has just become the first interstate driver to win the event.

With the defending champion Jamie Oldfield and Anthony Beare off the front row of the final the whole 30 lapper was going to be a ripper.

Oldfield got the advantage on the start and led Beare through the early laps, Victorian Steven Watts charged from position nine to three followed by Jace Kempton.

On lap eight the race came under caution, On the re-start Beare squeezed under Oldfield to take the lead, All the time Brad McClure was working his way through the field into forth, Beare managed to hold the lead for the rest of the race with a very determined Oldfield matching the leader's

pace, They ran lap after lap side by side, Such was Oldfield's determination to get around Beare'y on the outside he clipped the wall on the exit of four with two laps to go, This allowed Beare'y a gap and a clear run home to tame the win.
