1962 - AMAROO PARK SCRAMBLE
The Scramble track was the first of the tracks to be built, opening on the 26th of August 1962 with an Open event. The course was claimed by some riders as being too hard on riders and machines. Because of this rider numbers fell away.
Another Open meeting was held in October of 1962, Two more in 1963 and a final Open meeting in February of 1964 when only 27 riders turned up.
