2012 - ILLABO MOTOR SPORT PARK THE VISION
It was back in 2012 that Kerry Phelan stood out at the Illabo Showgrounds with a mate in Rodger Moore describing to him what he wanted to do at the venue, Rodger replied lets do it, At this point in time they had no resources or money, just a mission to fulfil.

2013 - ILLABO SHOWGROUND VINTAGE DEMONSTRATIONIn 2013 as part of annual celebrations at Illabo a vintage speedway demonstration event was held at the Illabo Showgrounds, The may very well been the inspiration for Kerry Phelan behind building the new vintage track right next to the showground.

2015 - ILLABO VINTAGE SPEEDWAY
In 2015 work commenced on building a 390 metre oval speedway track next to the Illabo Showgrounds, The speedway project's driving force is a man by the name of Kerry Phelan.

2016 - ILLABO MOTOR SPORT PARK
Illabo Motorsport Park was first approved for construction in 2013, Over the last three years under the leadership of Kerry Phelan and volunteers such as Leigh Sheather from Junee, Joe Belling and Trever Allen from Illabo, the project has taken shape and at this stage the first vintage demonstration meeting will be held on the 2nd of April 2016.
During the construction of the 1st stage of the venue the organisers were fortunate enough to receive support from the G.E.O group and the people completing community service.

2016 - ILLABO SPEEDWAY INAUGURAL MEETINGOn the 2nd of April 2016 the dream of speedway track at the Illabo Showgrounds became a reality for Kerry Phelan and his hard working team, no doubt.
