1947 - RENDEZVOUS BOWL
The Rendezvous Bowl opened in 1947 as a 1/4 mile paved oval speedway running Midgets only. In its short life some AAA sanctioned events were staged at the venue.
Money or the lack of it would put an end to racing. The owners managed to get through the 1949 season before they lost the property to the liquidators.
