Bowman Park Speedway held its opening meeting on Saturday the 9th of October 1965, The Speedway was built and run by the Crystal Brook Auto Sports Club, Who regulary featured Go Karts, Three Quarter Speedcars, Speedcars, Micro Midgets and Stock Cars.
