1954 - HIALEAH SPEEDWAY
Hialeah Speedway opened in 1954 as a 1/3 mile paved oval track. Stock Cars and Modifieds featured on the program.
This Speedway had a long life and put on a lot of fantastic nights of racing. The end was looming as Lego Land was closing in, shops and homes were accelerating towards the speedway, along with that came the noise complaints. Also there were several other speedway's in the area all in competition with Hialeah. The speedway closed in 2005.
