1966 - TURPIN SPEEDWAY
Turpin Speedway opened as a 3/8 mile dirt oval speedway in 1966, under the ownership of Frank Turpin, The track ran successfully through until the mid 1970's when it was onsold.

1975 - SUNTANA SPEEDWAY
In 1975 the track re-opened as a 2/5 mile paved speedway under the name of Suntana Speedway.
The speedway would experience mixed results in its life and a number of different promoters, In the end the speedway was just not seeing the fan support required to run at a profit, so it closed down in 1990.
