1986 - LAMAR SPEEDWAY
Lamar Speedway opened in 1986 as a 1/3 mile dirt oval speedway. The program was made up of Stock Cars and Modifieds. The management team battled through to 1995, that when they made the decision to close the gates, it was just simply not viable.

2010 - LAMAR SPEEDWAY
In 2010 a new management team stepped up and the speedway was once again operating. Not much had changed though, they continued to operate through to 2018 when they decided to walk away.
