1976 - LIVERPOOL SPEEDWAY. Gordon Guasco Laurels Solo Series. Speedcars & Saloon Cars. 21st February 1976.Carl Askew win's the Gordon GuascoIt was a rain affected program here at the high banked oval tonight, but apart from a few interuption's they got through.
Carl Askew won the 1976 Gordon Cuasco Laurels Solo Series with a tally of 15 points. Gerry Hintz would fill second spot with 14 points, while third would be Wayne Forrest on 13 points.
The rest of the program feature the popular Speedcar's with many driver's getting in a final shake down befere next Saturdays 1976 Australian Speedcar Championship Grand Final.
In addition the classey Late Model Sedans put on some fantastic racing as always, with the normal line up of thundering V8's and the quick and nimble six packer's, rubbing pannels and bumping wheels.
