1961 - OTTER CREEK SPEEDWAY.
Otter Creek Speedway was built on private property, on land owned by the Monroe family. The track was built as a 1/2 mile dirt oval speedway. Opening in 1961 under the name of Otter Creek Speedway the venue was very popular attracting good numbers of competitors and fans alike. The speedway did continue to operate right through until 1971 when it closed for what ever reason, But it had gone through some management changes and name changes, The track also went under the name of Hillside Raceway and Rainbow Ridge Raceway.

1963 - OTTER CREEK SPEEDWAY.
During 1963 the track was shortened to a 1/3 of a mile and operated in this form until about 1971 when it appears that the speedway closed.

1974 - HILLSIDE RACEWAY.
In 1974 it appears that the speedway reopened again, but this time under the name of Hillside Raceway.

1975 - RAINBOW RIDGE SPEEDWAY.
It also appears that the speedway went through another name change, possible in 1975, to Rainbow Ridge Speedway. This venue was one of the first tracks in Vermont to be sanctioned by Nascar. We are unsure of when the speedway closed.
