1969 - WANNEROO (BARBAGALO) RACEWAY
Wannereroo Park opened its gates in March of 1969, The original track was 1.498 miles or 2.411 km in length and the pits were located on the infield.
The first major event held at the venue was the Six Hour Le Mans race for sedans and sports cars, this event was held yearly until this class of racing faded and production car racing became more popular.

1992 - SHORT TRACK
In 1992 a shorter version of the track was constructed to make the circuit more suitable for more classes of racing to compete at venueu and also more suitable for night racing. this shorter circuit cut out the back part of the circuit and is 1.094 miles or 1.760km in length.
