1940's - SYDNEY VINEYARDS MINITURE TT CIRCUIT
The Vineyards Circuit was situated just fifty km from the center of Sydney on a flood plane for the Hawkesbury River, in the suburb of Vineyard.
The track was shaped like a tooth with two straights, three hairpins and one sweeping corner. The racing was in a anti-clockwise direction.

1940's - ANNANDALE - LEICHHARDT MOTOR CYCLE CLUB
It would be the smallish Annandale - Leichhardt Motor Cycle Club, that would see the potential in this waste land and sign up to a pepper corn lease and build a dirt short course motorcycle track.
