1954 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.Susquehanna Speedway opened on the 23rd of May 1954 as a 4/10 mile dirt oval speedway under control of Lurvin "Bud" Bricker. The opener had to be postponed by a week because of rain.
Buzzy Wilson won the first ever feature event at the new track in his flat head powered Stock Car.

1966 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
In 1966 "Hilly" Rife had taken control of the venue, giving him his third speedway, Dorsey MD ran on Friday's, Lincoln on Saturday's and Susquehanna on Sunday's.

1968 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Because of competitor numbers falling away in the sedan ranks, Sprintcar racing was introduced in 1968.
1970 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Will Kreitzer bought the venue just in time for the 1970 racing season. He hosted the Silver Springs show of Sportsman and Limited Late Model Sedans racing every Sunday with the occasional Sprint Car show.
1971 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Politics became involved in 1971 with the Sportsman teams boycotting the track, so the Late Model Sedans were invited to take there place.

1972 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Kreitzer sold the speedway to Ted Ruth in 1972, Ruth started the season with Sprintcars and Sportsman's, but switched to Late Model's as the second division at mid season.

1975 - MIDWAY SPEEDWAY.
After the 13th of May meeting in 1973 Ruth closed the track due to an illness in the family, The speedway sat dormant until later that year when Ruth tried running the Sportsman's and Limited Late Model Sedans, Along with this he changed the name of the venue to Midway Speedway. This didnt work to well at all so he switched to motorcycle racing for the rest of the season.

1976 - MIDWAY SPEEDWAY.
In 1976 Ruth cut back on Motorcyle racing and changed to Saturday night racing with the Limited Late Model Sedan's as the feature division.
1977 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Halfway through the 1977 season Ruth sold the venue to Dick Liddick, who continued with the same program, but ran four Sprint Car specials on Sunday nights, Liddick also changed the name of the track back to Susquehanna Speedway.
1978 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Liddick began with regular Sprintcar racing in 1978 and continued with that until late August of 1981, He then dropped the Sprintcars in favor of the Small Block Modified division, Only one race meeting was held during the 1983 season.

1984 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Jeff Hartlaub then purchased the venue for the 1984 season and started the year off with a Friday program of Sportsman's and Limited Late Model Sedan's racing. Once again it didnt work, By mid summer Hartlaub was racing Sprintcars again on Sunday nights with the Sportsman's and the Limited Late Model Sedans.
1988 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY.
Around 1988, Alan Kreitzer purchased the venue and continued with Hartlaub's program until 1993 when he sold out to Big Sprints Promotions for the 1993 season.
2004 - SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY PARK.
Todd Fisher bought the venue prior to the 2004 season and changed the name of the track to Susquehanna Speedway Park, He raced Thursday Sprintcar shows for three seasons before switching to Saturday Limited Late Model Sedan shows.

Scott Gobrecht took over the ownership of the venue in 2016 and names Kolten Gouse as General Manager.
2018 - BAPS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.
Susquehanna Speedway inks a landmark five year naming rights deal with BAPS Auto Paints, thus changing the name of the Speedway to BAPS Motor Speedway.
