2022 - CHARLTON RACEWAY AUSTRALIAN STREET STOCK CHAMPIONSHIP 10th > 12th June 2022The running of the Australian Street Stock Championship was actually meant to be held at the Bunbury City Speedway in Western Australia, But due to Covid 19 and the harsh border closures imposed by the West Australian Government, it was never going to happen. So the powers to be moved it to Toowoomba and granted Bunbury the rights to host the next one, The 2022 / 2023 event.
The years event was a hugh success, with ninety one quality nomination and great weather conditions it was always going to be a massive hit with the paying public.
Gartner Go's Quick TimeMany would agree that it was no suprise that Steve Gartner from South Australia has set fast time during official practice for the 2021 / 2022 Australian Street Stock Championship here at Toowoomba.
Steve a previous South Australian and Northern Territory Champion recorded a quick time of 16.861 to sit on top of the time charts.
Beare on Top After Night 1How does he do it, with so much talent in the field and the amount of quality cars he is up against. Anthony has clean sheeted his heat results with a win in all of his three races, infact he was the only driver to do so.

Champion Matt Nelson moved forward from position nine to finish second, While the charger from Mount Gambier came home third. Justin Brumfield from the NT was 4th, Nathan Barbeler 5th, John Lodge 6th, Morris Ahearn 7th, Dylan Campton 8th, Bradley Warren 9th, Jye Irving 10th, Damon Lyall 11th, Ricky Cornwall 12th and Bailey Heinrich 13th. Joel Berkley, Dale Morrison, Jamie Oldfield, Jace Kempton, Ben Stead, Lenny Bates, Jack Yates, James Russell and Shane Roycroft all failed to finish.
