1960's late - TOLGA RACECOURSE SPEEDWAY.
In the late 1960's several driver's all got together and began Hot Rod racing at the nearby Tolga Horse Racing track. As time passed and the local interest increased the Speedway Club decided to look for some land to build a purpose built speedway track.
A small parcel of land was sub leased from the local Rodeo Club and they set about building a new speedway.
