1949 - GLEN ESTE RACE BOWL.There are some reports that this 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway opened in 1951, but the are photo's taken by Mary Richmond in 1950 that could change that fact, It is also possible that it could of opened earlier.
And so it be the team at the Ohio & West Virginia Racing History facebook page have done the research, and it turns out the track was built by Pop Kelly and his two boys, Mike and Pat back in 1949, It is believed it opened in 1950 under the name, Glen Este Speedway and run by the Kelley family.
In 1952 the promotor's are listed as Mike and Lou Kelley

1954 - RED FULLER'S SPEEDWAY.
In 1954 the track's name was changed to the Red Fuller's Speedway, This arrangement carried through the 1955 season also. This indicates a possible change in management.
1956 - GLEN ESTE RACE BOWL.
In 1956 the name of the track was changed back to its original name of Glen Este Race Bowl.
The program was dominated by the ever popular Stock Cars. Demo Derby's and Figure eight racing also featured at some meetings.
As the years passed the promoters shifted there attension to the Late Model Sedan's. There was also a name change to the Cincinnati Race Bowl at some stage.
It is believed that in 1972 all speedway stopped and the Dirt Bike community moved in. They did run some motocross meetings at the venue for a few years before it closed completely.
