1914 - YETHOLME CIRCUIT.
The fifteen and a half mile circuit was mapped out on the public dirt roads just outside of Yetholme, The racing started at Kirkconnell in a clockwise direction on to sunny corner then to Meadow Lee Flat and back to Kirkconnell.

1914 - AUSTRALIAN MOTORCYCLE CRAND PRIX.
The first Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix was held near Yetholme in the Bathurst area of New South Wales on the 5th of October 1914, twenty four riders met the started for nine laps of the fifteen and a half mile circuit.
The winner of the 140 miles, 1914 Australian Grand Prix was Edgar Meller on a 2-3/4hp TT Douglas in a time of 210 miniutes, ahead of Alexander Macfarlane on a Matchless and William Sinden on a Zenith.

1915 - MOTORCYCLE GRAND PRIX.
There was also a Grand Prix race held on the Yetholme Circuit in 1915 over one hundred miles.
Most of the riders stayed the weekend at Yetholme.
