This 5/8 mile dirt oval speedway opened in 1992 as West Florida Speedway, over its life of running Hobby Stocks and Late Model sedans, the track went through some name changes, The track has also been known as North Florida Speedway, Gulf Coast Speedway, Wewa Motor Speedway, Dead Lakes Speedway and Gulf County Speedway, The track closed in 2004 and sold off for housing.
