1994 - I-80 SPEEDWAY
I-80 Speedway opened as a 4/10 mile banked Dirt Oval Speedway in mid 1994, The Friday and Saturday night meeting's hosted Sprintcar's, Late Model's and Modified's.

1995 - I-80 SPEEDWAY.
In 1995 a 1/4 mile Dirt Oval was added inside the main track and used the existing main straight, but this only lasted for a short time.

2001 - NEBRASKA RACEWAY PARK.
In 2001 the venue was onsold to new owners and the name was changed from i-80 Speedway to Nebraska Raceway Park.

2005 - I-80 SPEEDWAY.
In 2005 the venue, which had lost a bit of its dominance within the region was on sold again. At this point the name was changed back to I-80 Speedway.
It wasn't long before the large fields and spectator numbers returned. The track had regained some of that dominance that had been lost, also the big name Series races were back at the venue.

2022 - I-80 SPEEDWAY.
By 2022 the owners made the decision to close up shop and sell off a great deal of the infrastructure as any attempt to sell the speedway as a turn key situation was not possible.
