1969 - HAMILTON SPEEDWAY DRIVERS CLUB
The Hamilton Speedway Drivers Club was formed on the 12th of September 1969 but did not become incorporated until the 24th of July 1984.
Western Speedway has operated under the control of the club since 1972, firstly as a day time venue and then in 1977 lighting was errected and night speedway began.
The Hamilton Speedway Club has hosted many state and national tital events over the years and is a volenteer non for profit group.

2019 - WESTERN SPEEDWAY AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION SEDAN CHAMPIONSHIP 26th & 27th January 2019The Hamilton Speedway Drivers Club hosted the 2018 2019 Australian Production Sedan Championship at there Western Speedway complex on the 26th and 27th of January 2019.
