The Sydney Showgrounds Speedway played host to the 1968 Australian Supermodified Championship on the 17th of February 1968.
Bob Tunks in his number 54 Edmunds bodied six cylinder Supermodified took out the 25 lap feature from, 2nd Ray Brett and 3rd Tony Ward.
