1968 - SUGAR CREEK RACEWAY
Sugar Creek Raceway construction commenced in 1967 with the opening meeting being held in 1968, The track was a 3/8th mile clay high banked oval, During its years of operation, Sugar Creek hosted, Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Crate Late Models, Modified Hobbies, Street Stocks and Pony Stocks, The track joined a long list that had closed in 2008.

2011 - SUGAR CREEK RACEWAY REOPENS
In 2011 Andrew Moreland joined forces with Winford Morris to lease the venue with the aim of rebuilding and re-opening by 2012.
Improvements to the venue including, widening of the race track by ten feet, and new guard rails installed, The infield pits and buildings were removed to the outer as well as increased in size, this greatly improved safety and spectator viewing.
Also the spectator parking area has been increased.
