1969 - DEERFIELD SPEEDWAY
Deerfield Speedway opened in 1969 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway running mainly motorcycle racing, this form of motorsport was not all that popular and the track closed in 1974.

1986 - DEERFIELD SPEEDWAY
The track re-opened again in 1986 as a car speedway running mainly Stock Cars, Dwarf Cars and Mini Sprints, This form of racing became very popular but the track did close again in 2001, The track did re-open again after 2002, after a ownership change, The track did continue to operate with success up until it closed in 2018, the reason given, the up-grades to the venue that were required were expensive and the owner didn't think he would ever get a return to cover his investment.
