1940's - PULASKI COUNTY SPEEDWAY
During the 1940's a large area of land that was a natural bowl was to be the start of a speedway track, It wasn't until 1952 when the track opened to the public.

1952 - PULASKI COUNTY SPEEDWAY
In 1952 the speedway was officially opened to feature the ever popular roaring Hot Rods. Racing would continue at this popular venue, attracting good competitor and spectator numbers through the 1960's.

1983 - NEW RIVER VALLEY SPEEDWAY COCA-COLA 200 24th July 1983

1988 - PULASKI COUNTY SPEEDWAY
Pulaski County Speedway reopeded in 1988 after some major renervations. The new track would be a .410 mile paved oval that would be sanctioned by Nascar. In 1992 the name of the track was changed to New River Valley Speedway.

2004 - MOTOR MILE SPEEDWAY
After the new owners, The Shelor Automotive Group purchased the venue in 2004, the name of the track was changed to Motor Mile Speedway. By this stage the venue was able to hold in excess of 10,000 spectators, the track was still at its length of .416 mile, with seven degree banking on the straights and fifteen degrees on the corners.
