1962 - SYDNEY SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAY. Jack Bissaker Memorial for Speedcar's. 27th January 1962.McGavin wins Speedcar'sCurrent inform speedcar driver Andy McGavin has tonight taken out the 25 lap Jack Bissaker Memorial feature race.
McGavin crossed the finish line ahead of Johnny Peers with third place going to Ken Morton.
The thundering Sidecars were up and about tonight with Doug Robson and his passenger taking out the three lap (Sidecar Stars scratch race) from Bill Bingham and Bob Levy in third.
In the Solo (Handicap final) Noel Thorley won after starting on the 100 yard gate.
