2015 - BUNBURY SPEEDWAY (14th November 2015)
Saturday the 14th was going to be the big test for the track that has gained the reputation as the Big Bad Bunbury Bull Ring, Competitors and car owners had been expressing concerns of late in the condition of the track surface that was leading to component failure and the tyre wear problems that were compounding the costs of speedway racing.
The Bunbury Car Club had excavated the entire race track and relayed an entire new clay surface which was ready for a trial run on the Thursday night prior to this meeting.
That practice was deemed to be a complete success by Bunbury Car Club President Phil Rose, In his words there was a lot of traffic on the track Thursday night from many varied divisions and we didn't have to touch the track all night.
