1872 - CROWLEY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
Crowley County Fairgrounds was originally opened up as a 1/2 mile horse racing track that dates back to 1872.

1909 - CROWLEY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
The first motor racing event at the fairground didn't happen until 1909, when a two day event was staged, Motor racing would continue on a semi regular basis through until the end of 1915.

1927 - CROWLEY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
Motor racing restarted again in 1927 with events being held on a more regular basis. once again motor racing was short lived, this time stopping after 1935. After World War 2 and after the world wide ban on motor racing was lifter the track was used for testing race car only, This continued through until 1950 when the track reopened.

1950 - CROWLEY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
In 1950 the track was once again opened up for Stock Car racing under the control of the South East Kansas Racing Club. The Stock Cars were very popular and continued to race through to the end of the 1959, This is when the track closed once again.

1967 - CROWLEY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
In 1967, the Auto Racing Association of Kansas got the venue up and running again and continued tohold events through till the end of 1971 when the track closed for the last time.
