1970 - TRI COUNTY SPEEDWAY
Tri County Speedway opened in 1970 as a 1/3 mile dirt oval speedway focusing on Stock Car Racing. The track only operated for a few years before it closed down in 1974.
1980 - CENTRAL STATE SPEEDWAY
The speedway did reopen again in 1980 but under new management and under the new name of Central State Speedway. For the next eight seasons the speedway enjoyed a lot of success with its program full of Street Stock and Late Model Sedan racing.

1988 - CENTRAL WISCONSIN SPEEDWAY.
Ownership of the speedway changed in 1998 and for whatever reason it remained closed until 1992.
Then in 1992 it eventually opened, but once again its life was short lived. The Government of the day resumed the land, sent the speedway operators packing and build a freeway through the middle of the track.
