1976 - DARWIN KARTING ASSOCIATION
The Darwin Karting Association was formed and incorporated in 1976.

1976 - 13 MILE AIRFIELD KART CIRCUIT
The association built there racetrack on a portion of the disused World War two, 13 Mile Airfield South of Darwin.
The club utilised the airfield for many years before moving to the purpose built Hidden Valley circuit in 1983.
