1988 - LOUISVILLE MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Louisville Motor Speedway opened in 1988 as a 3/8 mile paved oval track, but in 1993 was extended in 1993 to become a Tri Oval. The track hosted various high profile events including Three ARCA Racing Series events between 1994 and 1996. Seven Nascar South East Series events between 1995 and 2001. One only ASA National Tour event in the year 2000, as well as a USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series event in 2001.
TNT Motorsports ran there Renegades Monster Truck Challenge at the venue between 1988 and 1990.
The United States Hot Rod Association ran there Super Bowl of Motorsport at the venue between 1992 and 1993.
On Friday nights, the track hosted a Sportsman division, while on Saturday nights it was Street Stocks, Late Model Sedans and Mini Trucks.
The track was closed in 2001 and demolished shortly after Kentucky Speedway opened. The site is now an industrial park.
