1915 - TWIN CITY MOTOR SPEEDWAYTwin City Motor Speedway opened in 1915 as a three mile paved oval, it could be said that the partners involved in the planning, building and running of the speedway didn't all share the same vision. In the three years of operation the track was dogged with partners clashing and money issues.
The first race was a AAA Sanctioned two hundred mile race called the Twin City

Sweepstakes, the winners of this first event on September for were Earl Cooper and Johnny Aitken.

1916 - TWIN CITY MOTOR SPEEDWAY
The next race meeting would not be held until 1916, Money issues such as, failing to finish paying for the land, as well as non payment to some of the builders, was sending the group towards bankrupts'y.
In 1917 the partners managed to rum a number of events, all sanctioned by the AAA, the maintainance on the track had been fairly hit and miss, The paved track surface had started breaking up and weeds were growing up through the cracks.
The partner were forced into selling the grandstand to pay off there debits, the track never opened in 1918.
