2005 - MONTICELLO SPEEDWAY
Monticello Speedway opened in 2005 as a 1/3 mile dirt oval speedway, However tragedy struck not long after when a two year old child drowned in the dam that was used to water the race track, This cast a shadow over the venue, in an attempt to shake off the memory of this tragedy, The tracks name was changed to Drew County Speedway and continued to run, Late Model Sedan's, Modified's and Stock Cars.
The venue closed in 2011 and never re-opened.
