1963 - SYDNEY SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAY. Australian Sidecar Championship. 26th January 1963.Johnson & Bertwhistle are Australian ChampionsHere tonight at the the Sydney Royal a big crowd packed in the witness the running of this year's Australian Speedway Sidecar Championship.
A series of six heats were run throughout the night with the four highest points scorers going into the final event.
The final was an action packed event with the win going to the combination of Ron Johnson from New South Wales and Len Bertwhistle from Queensland on a HRD Vincent, in second place was Don Willison from South Australian and R Siert in the chair also on HRD Vincent, while in third place was Sandy McCrae from Queensland and D Carmody swinging. The nights support was Solo's and Speedcar's.

1963 - SYDNEY SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAY. 2nd November 1963.John Harvey wins Speedcar featureSydney sider Johnny Harvey has tonight taken out the 25 lap Speedcar feature race tonight in a solid drive.
In the bikes it would Barry Hopkins who took the win in the (Solo Handicap Final), while Jude Sanderson and his passenger who were first to the flag in the (Sidecar Handicap Final). In all it was a fantastic night of racing.
