1950's - PIERCE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.
Speedway racing events were held from time to time on the 1/2 mile Pierce County Fairgrounds from the 1950's through to the late 1980's.

1988 - GEOGRAPHICAL CENTRE SPEEDWAY.
In 1988 a new 1/4 mile track was built within the 1/2 mile layout, Stock Cars and Modified Rods became very popular with race meeting being held up until 2015 when the speedway closed.
