Brian Moyle recalls: I was living and working in Port Hedland prior to this photo and i can remember going into the wrecking yard one day and Bobs car, a full chassis car was sitting in front of the workshop partially stripped out, I asked him what he was doing and he explained to me that with the introduction of the new rules, The LC Torana body kit he was running on the car was no longer allowed, so he was just going to update the body so he could run the V8.

1983 - BRETT DERSCHOW Bomber's
Brett Derschow recalls: I raced Bombers at Pippingarra Speedway and can still remember some of the characters from back then, My old Valiant got retired after a few blown engines, I replace her with a LC Torana which i later sold to Terry Bolt who took her up the Derby and raced her there for a couple of seasons.
Bombers were a cheap class and always drew a large field, Thank you for bringing back some of the best memories.
