1952 - ROUTE 66 SPEEDWAY
Route 66 Speedway opened in 1952 as a 1/3 mile dirt oval speedway running mainly Stock Cars.
Lost Dirt Tracks facebook has reported that the track was built by a very disgruntled Harold Garstang, who was previously promoting the Burden Lake Speedway, after having some sort of disagreement with the owner he built this speedway to go into competition.
