BOB TROSTLE |
November 2015 |
************************************************************Krikke Motor Sport Tribute
Today we woke to the devasting news that legendry Bob Trostle had sadly passed away.Bob was a mentor and great friend of Shane and in 1988 Shane lived with Bob and Dorothea and learnt so much about sprintcar racing from the great man.
It was such an honour and an amazing opportunity last year, when prior starting cancer battle again, that SK got to travel to the US and was invited by Bob to sit with him at the Knoxville Nationals Sprintcar Hall of Fame meet and greet and share some special times and reminisce on their long time friendship.
Without Bob Trostle, Krikke Motorsport would not exist, He was the man who sold Peter Krikke their first Sprintcar back in 1980 and the love affair with Sprintcar racing began.
Today we salute you Bob and will hold dear memories you've left us with.Tribute photo: Allan Baker.
