1940's - CONVAIR FIELD.
Originally built for World War 2, This airfield was used for Convair to assemble aircraft for the US war efforts.

1951 - CONVAIR FIELD. Motor Racing.
After the war the site was used as a 1.58 mile road race circuit on the 28th of October 1951 and the 3rd of August 1952. Also a newspaper add for a Sportscar racing event was held on Sunday the 19th of August 1956.

1955 - CONVAIR FIELD. Drag Racing.
The 1/4 mile drag racing strip operated at the site from the 15th of May 1955 through to later in 1956.

1956 - A large attendance at the 29th of April 1956 meeting.

1956 - ALLENTOWN MORNING CALL NEWSPAPER REPORTED.
1956 - The Allentown Morning Call Newspaper reported that 8,000 spectators attended the drag racing on the 6th of May 1956.

1956 - Mike Gurtizen driving the Gent's Roadstar Club's rear engines designed dragstar at Convair Field on the 12th of May meeting.
