1926 - LANSDOWNE MOTOR CYCLE HILL CLIMB
Landsdowne is 27 km west of Sydney city on the Hume Highway. The 300 yard grass/dirt hill was located on the Lansdowne Estate whick was on the Georges River just past the historic Lennox Bridge.
The hill was used from 1926 until at least 1949, with a lapse during World War 2. Many Sydney Motor Cycle Clubs regulary used this venue.
