1946 - WICHITA FALLS SPEEDROME
Wichita Falls Speedrome opened in 1946 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway running Midgets.
The weekly thursday night race meetings were quite popular with the public and many of the local drivers.
The tracks life was short lived, for what ever reason it closed in 1955. With no plans to reopen the track was demolished.
