Adele Whitmore recalls: The photo above I recall sitting beside Jim Robinson's son Mark time and time again in the office / shed for a number of years, doing the official timing for the Liverpool Districts Motor Club events.
Jim Robson was one of those volunteers that every club requires to get these club events happening, Jim was in fact the person that took on the task of recording all the names and times of the competitors each week, he would fill out the booklet pictured on the right for those private practice runs.
I joined the Liverpool Districts Motor Club in September of 1968 as a keen young volunteer.
During my time i held a number of positions (eg: Treasurer, secretary, Director and Secretary of Events, and enjoyed the entire experience.
