1997 - THUNDER LAKE SPEEDWAY
Thunder Lake Speedway opened as a 1/3 mile dirt oval speedway in 1997, The track was very popular with spectators and competitors, Not long after opening the tracks name was changed to Butler County Speedway, At one point the track was also known as Butler County Motorplex.
The venue closed in 2010, but did reopen in 2015, only to close again in 2016 never to reopen.
