1990 - NEW HAMPSHIRE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY
The construction of this 1.058 mile Asphalt and Granite paved high banked oval started on the 13th of August 1989. New Hampshire International Speedway took nine months to build and opened on the 5th of June 1990. It was the Bahre family's that bought the existing Bryer Motorsports Park. They then redeveloped the site to a multi purpose race track.

2008 - NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Prior to the 2008 racing season Speedway Motorsports purchased New Hampshire International Speedway and other related assets from the Bahre family's for $340 million, the name of the venue was changed to New Hampshire Motor Speedway and added in the catch cry, "The Magic Mile".
