1999 - IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY
Irwindale Speedway opened on the 27th March 1999 as a 1/2 mile Asphalt paved high banked oval speedway. The speedway is part of a bigger complex. The complex is made up of the 1/2 mile oval, a 1/3 mile oval and a 1/8 mile dragstrip.

2008 - TOTOTA SPEEDWAY AT IRWINDALE.
In 2008 Toyota purchased the naming rights to the venue, so it was now known as Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. This arrangement continued through until 2011. Nascar had sanctioned many major events at the speedway, but in 2011 they chose to exclude Toyota Speedway from any further sanctioning.

2012 - TOYOTA SPEEDWAY AT IRWINDALE.
Without the ongoing sanctioning things soon ground to a holt. Irwindale Speedway LLC who managed the venue filed for bankruptcy on the 13th of February and the venue closed.

2013 - IRWINDALE EVENTS CENTRE.
In 2013 the venue did reopen again along with the name change. It was now known as the Irwindale Events Centre.

2015 - IRWINDALE EVENTS CENTRE.
By 2015 the doomsday clouds were decending over the venue, on again, off again plans threatened the venues exsistance, this extended through into 2018, when the clouds vanished and some sort of normality returned.

2018 - IRWINDALE EVENTS CENTRE.
In 2018 a new management team took over the venue. That being former Late Model Track Champion Tim Huddleston, and along with, K&N West team owner Bob Bruncatti.
