Richard Fink 11 recall's: My own racing career began in 1989 at age fourteen racing a kart here at the original Wheelersburg Raceway. Sadly, that first season of mine was the very last for this track. Steve Church from Church Auto Body was the promoter for most of 1989 and i believe Loren Glem was the one who tried to keep it going there at the end of the year.
