SHASTA SPEEDWAY.
1940's - SHASTA SPEEDWAY.
Shasta Speedway opened in the late 1940's as a .375 mile Dirt Oval track. Then in the early 1970's the track was reconfigured to a 1/4 mile, and still retaining the dirt surface.
Then in 1972 the track was reconfigured again to .333 of a mile and the surface was paved with asphalt. In 2004 the speedway was altered once again, this time back to the previous size of .375 of a mile. The surface recieved another coat of ashphalt and that how to venue is today in 2026.
