2025 - SHARK BAY SPEEDWAY. Spring Spectacular. 4th & 5th October 2025.Ken Melvin Dominates the Legend CarsThe Legend Car kicked of there new racing season here at Shark Bay Speedway today as part of the Shark Bay Speedway Club's Spring Spectacular meeting.
Right from the get go it was going to be a stand out performance for the Collie RDA driver Kenny Melvin, The Legend car's are well suited to the Shark Bay oval's size and surface. Kenny who has been racing speedway in many various forms of machinery showed his dominance right from his first angry lap, over the meeting Kenny won all three of his heats, Set the fastest lap time of 19.277 seconds, took out the Hard Charger award and won the Pre Lim A Main by 3.666 seconds.
Crossing the line in second place in the Pre Lim was Wayne Campbell in his [77] car, Third went to Steve Barrow [16W] 4th Phil Nicols [10W/ 5th Cody Roberts [78W] 6th Mark Maczek [33W] 7th Brittany Nash

[3W] and in 8th place was Rikky Leigh Beard [57W/ So lets see what tomorrow produces with another full on program of racing to come.
