1968 - MELBOURNE SPEEDWAY. Victorian Speedcar Championship. 30th March 1968.Bill Wigzell is Victorian Speedcar ChampionThey dont refer to Bill Wigzell as the Wizard for nothing, The South Australian Supermodified Champion is also at home in a Speedcar.
Wigzell tonight here at the Melbourne Speedway has swept all before him to win this years annual Victorian Speedcar Championship, held over 30 lap's.
2nd to the line was Lew Marshall from New South Wales, 3rd was Gary McClenahan and 4th Rob Brown.

Roy outscored the Scottish rider Bert Harkins.
