Korweinguboora: VIC.
1932 - KORWEINGUBOORA MUD BATTLE.
Korweinguboora is about 10km south of Daylesford, Victoria. It was perhaps the longest running mud scramble in Australia. It appears to have started in 1932 and was an annual event run by the Ballarat Harley Motor Cycle Club.
There were races for solos and sidecars. There appeared to be a break as all motor racing did between 1941 and 1945 due to World War 2. The race meetings were usually held in winter say June or July, The course was over one mile and attracted large crouds.
